Oklahoma,

It's a shame that Chuck Schumer refuses to do his job. This week, Congress was up against another funding deadline because Leader Schumer neglected his responsibility of funding the government through regular order. Check out more on this topic below.

Schumer chose not to bring a single appropriations bill to the Senate floor and instead brought a continuing resolution to kick the can down the road for the next three months. I don't believe in shutting down the government, but at the same time, I am not going to support bad leadership. This is 100% bad leadership. Watch my Weekly Wrap Up here

It was an honor to meet with Gold Star Families from Oklahoma this week. From left to right, Meka is the widow of USAF Capt Cartize Durham and Isabell and Emily are the daughter and widow of Capt David “JP” Thompson. We will continue to celebrate the legacies of our Gold Star heroes and recognize the sacrifice their families have also made on our country's behalf. May this be a reminder to us all that freedom is not free.

It was great to see familiar faces from the State Chamber of Oklahoma during their visit to Washington this week. The chamber represents a significant portion of Oklahoma's economic landscape, with over 1,500 member companies and a workforce of more than 350,000 individuals. It was an honor to deliver remarks on a range of topics including how we can support and fuel businesses, Oklahoma's aerospace and defense industries, and Israel's posture towards Hezbollah and Iranian-backed terrorist groups. Thank you to State Chamber President & CEO Chad Warmington for having me.

Great news! Congressman Frank Lucas (OK-03) and I have secured $5.5 million in funding for Oklahoma State University (OSU) to use towards their research into weather sensors in commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Advanced Air Mobility aircraft. OSU is leading the way in the aerospace and aviation industry, and I want to thank President Shrum for her leadership.

I joined Fox Business this week to share my reaction to Joe Biden's speech on climate change at the United Nations General Assembly. Biden has no foreign policy wins to stand on in a room full of world leaders. During a time of heightened global unrest, America should act like a world power and embrace President Trump's peace through strength. Watch the interview here

I took to the Senate floor last week in an effort to pass the Protecting American Energy Production Act to prohibit this administration or any administration after from unilaterally cancelling fracking projects across the U.S. Senate Democrats blocked it immediately. In response, I penned a piece in the Wall Street Journal highlighting the importance of fracking to support our allies and keep energy costs low. Check it out here
