We believe in the inherent dignity of all people—including those who migrate.

This belief is central in our Catholic faith, but is a belief that is not upheld in our society, as we have seen yet again in recent rhetoric in the U.S.

But hope and justice are also central to our Catholic faith, and there is one particular area of our work that is bringing me great hope—ISN's Undocu Network.

This network gathers young people connected to Jesuit and other Catholic universities who are undocumented, hold temporary status including DACA or TPS, or are a part of mixed-status families. Student leaders work closely with ISN staff to build a community of support, serve as lead voices in ISN’s advocacy campaigns and public statements, and work collectively to actively build safer and more welcoming campus communities.
