Hi John,

When I could do nothing more as a volunteer in my sons’ classrooms, I ran for School Board. I fought for better funding for our schools.

When I could do nothing more on the School Board, I ran for Orange County Commissioner. I championed the construction of two schools, two senior centers, and affordable housing initiatives.

When I could do nothing more as County Commissioner, I ran for State House. I championed legislation for women, people of color, voting rights, and environmental protection.

When I could do nothing more as State Senator, I ran for Congress. I strive to uplift the common good, day in and day out. I will never stop fighting for progress, John.

That’s why I’m running for re-election — and need your help to add another term to my resume of public service. Our most critical fundraising deadline is this Monday at midnight.
