How Bad Will Their Policy Be for Our Kids?

This All Depends On Us, We Must Fight!

LGBTQ indoctrination in public schools.

Local Policy Agenda.

We have been fighting the aftermath of HB24-1039 for quite some time now, as you may know. But now, this horrific bill has become law and is being implemented in Colorado schools as we speak. But there is good news; we still have some control over how this Unconstitutional law is implemented in our local districts. Continue reading to learn how you can protect local kids from gender ideology.

Non-Legal Name Changes- House Bill 24-1039 ([link removed]) , requires staff in public and charter schools to use "pronouns" and "names" for kids with gender dysphoria that do not align with their actual scientific gender. While the law does not require parental consent for schools to transition children by way of their names, the bill also does not prohibit local school districts from implementing the policy with the stipulation that parental consent is required. Moving forward, all school districts will refer to this policy as Policy ACA.
In addition to the Religious Opt Out Policy ([link removed]) we created in the Spring, we have also provided a template for ACA policy that is both compliant with HB24-1039 and parent-approved. We have enclosed a template policy package and attached instructions in the ACA Policy folder. ([link removed]) There is also a video that explains this policy ([link removed]) in detail.

You do not have to use our policy; you may also refer to and use the policies passed by the other school boards, or write a new policy ACA. Whatever form of the policy your school or district passes, it must require parental consent. Several schools, including all of Pueblo D -70 ([link removed]) , New Summit ([link removed]) , Monument Academy ([link removed]) , have successfully implemented Policy ACA with parental consent.

Please be aware that CASB (Colorado Association of School Boards) rife with liberal motives, has sent a sample template for Policy ACA to all school districts, and CASB implies this is the best way to write the policy. It clearly is not. Your district does NOT have to use this weak policy that of course does not require parental consent.

The goal of these gender-transition-in-school bills is clear; the Colorado legislature seeks to break down the family unit while convincing kids that government knows best. The more children the Denver Dems can indoctrinate, the closer they get to total control. Every generation churned out by our public schools is worse than the one before it. Now, the current college kids are rioting for Palestine and sympathizing with Hamas. When do we decide that we must stop allowing the left to raise our children?
We are not encouraging local districts to require parental consent; we are urging them to do so and adding the caveat that any school districts who do not require parental consent will be publicly exposed for allowing the grooming of children. If our leaders will not protect children in the midst of one of the most anti-parent laws of our time, then why did we elect them? It is time for these elected school board members to stand up and work for families, not themselves and special interests.

Dozens of school boards across the state are currently writing their policies as we speak, and we must keep up the pressure to protect kids. In El Paso County, the D-49, D-20, and D-11 boards are currently vacillating with this policy and, despite being conservative-leaning, may opt to not require parental consent. Douglas County is also wrestling with the policy at present. This should not be complicated, at all.

I am so tired of elected officials promising to protect our children, lower our taxes, fight crime, and lower homelessness, only to sell out to the highest bidder...more often than not. This is the failure of so many elected officials, that got us to the state we are in today.

Contact Academy D-20 ([link removed]) , District 11 ([link removed]) , and Douglas County School Board ([link removed]) to let them know that this policy should not even be up for debate. Parental consent is a must. Elected officials who violate your parental rights must be held accountable.

Parents have the right to direct their children’s education. Please implement the PARENT-APPROVED policy today to protect kids from the Colorado progressives.
Legal progress is ongoing…
At a minimum, parents have the right to know if their children are suffering from mental health issues, exhibiting signs of gender dysphoria, displaying sexual behaviors at school, or anything else of concern. This is a right, not a concept. A school does not have the right to lie to you about your child, raise your child, or otherwise tell you that you are being replaced as a parent by the State because it does not agree with your stance on basic biology. We cannot back down.

We need boards to require parental consent as they pass this policy. We need Republicans to make sure your school district passes the best policy and is held accountable if they do not. We need people to call and email school boards. Thank you for any help you may provide to stand for our kids and our country.
