Did you know it's Banned Books Week?

 

We spend a lot of time thinking about banned books here at the School Board Integrity Project, including how a school board can determine what is – and isn't – in our students' school libraries.

 

We believe those who want to ban books have always been on the wrong side of history. That's why we work every day to ensure we elect school board members who will protect the freedom to read and learn for all students.

 

As we head into the weekend, we encourage you to vote early (see where here!) and then get out to your local bookstore or library to pick up a banned book or two! (Here are some suggestions!)
