John, it's Andy, the Executive Director of the Kansas House Democrats.

Organizing in Kansas can be tough, but not just because we're the minority party… Earlier this month the Kansas GOP Chairman sent out this email with his harmful message, telling Kansans his plans for the future:

In one of the most politically polarized election environments, extremist Kansas Republicans are flat-out REFUSING to tone down their violent political rhetoric.

John, we must respond to this terrible behavior with positive grassroots momentum of our own. We will defeat the Kansas GOP at the ballot box, and to do that, we need your support. Will you make a contribution today to help us reach our LAST End of Quarter Fundraising Goal before the election?

This isn't the first time we called out the KS GOP for their inflammatory and harmful actions—I mean, do you remember when we showed you this image of Johnson County Republicans' effigy of President Biden for attendees to assault back in March?

We called on Kansas GOP leaders to condemn this sort of behavior because we've seen what the increasingly violent political rhetoric can do if left unchecked.

But they refused to, and now the extremist leadership is doubling down on it—promising to, "remove the Democrat infestation in the Kansas Governor's Mansion," in order to cut taxes for the wealthy, interfere in our Dr's offices, cripple our public schools, and more, using the Republican Supermajorities and Statewide offices to make it happen.

John, Democrats up and down the ballot are working around-the-clock to protect our rights and freedoms, but if we fail to defeat right-wing extremists this fall by breaking the supermajorities, all of our progress could be at risk.

This upcoming election is going to determine not only the balance of power for the Legislature, but the trajectory of Kansas's future—which is why we have no time to waste. Our last End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline is on Monday, and we're still $9,021 away from our goal. John, can you pitch in to help us reach it?

Andy, Executive Director
