As you may know, government funding votes have been happening in Washington DC and all eyes are on Congress to see if there is another government shutdown in the future. I was quite disappointed to see that last week, the House voted against a bill that would have avoided a government shutdown, and decided instead to focus on divisive chaos.

What’s even more embarrassing is that my opponent, Nicole Malliotakis, joined the extreme MAGA side of Congress and decided to vote against seniors, veterans, and measures that would really help out her constituents. The people of Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn deserve better, and I’m ready to flip NY-11 and take back the House.
