Dear John,

With #GivingTuesdayNow setting the stage for a global wave of generosity in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, you want your contribution to have the greatest impact.

As someone who is absolutely passionate about the welfare of animals, you should know you can do the most good as a member of the Amy Bend Bishop Society.

When you begin your monthly giving today, you’ll help provide a reliable source of funding as we face the effects of the devastating COVID-19 crisis. Your ongoing support is more critical than ever because we’ll feel the financial impact for years to come.

As you well know, the American Fondouk has been saving the lives of working animals and the families who depend on them in Fez, Morocco, for more than 90 years.

Thanks to the compassion of people like you, we’ve saved thousands of animals. But the COVID-19 crisis is placing an unprecedented new strain on our already limited resources. For one thing, the Fondouk has begun a food distribution service.

Moreover, we are assisting with the removal of deceased animals throughout the city, which has become more urgent. The entire Medina sees this as an essential public service. In fact, all of our life-saving work MUST continue. More owners are bringing their injured animals. We must provide free veterinary services to anyone who comes to our doors.

Before the COVID-19 crisis, we could expect to treat more than 12,000 equines a year.

Now that no one knows what to expect other than more suffering and death before this global pandemic ends I offer an urgent plea. Please click here to join the Amy Bend Bishop Society today. I promise you that your support will have a life-saving impact.

With my deepest thanks,

Bob Coleman
