From the day that Vice President Harris announced her candidacy back in July, to the Democratic National Convention in August where she made her case to the American people, to the debate earlier this month where she prosecuted the case against Trump’s dangerous vision – it’s been thrilling to watch Democrats from across the country come together behind her and her running mate, my friend Governor Tim Walz.

I couldn’t be more excited about Vice President Harris and Governor Walz as our ticket. They’re tough, fearless, and tenacious, and I know they will stand for honor and decency to move our country forward – alongside a strong firewall of Democratic governors who will act as their partners in the states from coast to coast.

But Democrats in races up and down the ballot can’t win this fight against Trump and his MAGA followers alone, John. It’s going to take all of us stepping up – not just on Election Day, but every one of the 39 days remaining beforehand as well. And there is too much at stake for anyone to stay on the sidelines.
