John, I wanted to share this amazing news with you right away.

Yesterday, the DSCC announced that they are investing millions of dollars into Texas to help us beat Ted Cruz and flip this seat blue!

This incredible news comes on the heels of us pulling ahead of Cruz in a poll – another huge first in this race!

It couldn’t be clearer: We have the momentum, and we’re going to win. National Democrats like the DSCC are investing critical resources here because they are seeing what I’ve been saying all along: Texans are ready for change, and we are in a strong position to FINALLY send Ted Cruz packing.

There’s never been a better moment to join this team, so I’m personally asking: Will you split a donation of $10 or more between me and Fight for Progress right now toward my $3 million end-of-quarter goal so we can fire Ted Cruz in November?

We know that this investment is going to bring even more national attention to Texas. Both Democrats and Republicans are laser-focused on this race because they know it could decide Senate control.

Ted Cruz and his allies are already planning to outspend us 6-to-1, and you can bet they’ll be pouring even more into attack ads against me when they see today’s headlines.
