Climate Justice

The planet-wide climate crisis often feels overwhelming, but change still starts with a simple first step. In this week’s Climate Justice newsletter, we examine ways to take the initiative. First, Climate Week NYC 2024 is well underway, but even if you’re far from the Big Apple, you can still participate in many of the conference’s lectures, discussions, and forums. Next, building a just energy transition in an oil-dependent region requires not just clean energy but community control. Then, from getting rid of paper business cards to encouraging online donations and supporting remote work, what green actions can nonprofits take? Finally, we invite you to submit to Nonprofit Quarterly Magazine’s winter Health Justice issue: “A Social Lens for Health Innovation.”
