As Americans begin casting their ballots across the country with vote-by-mail and early vote, we’ll start to get even more information about this November’s election.

The amount of information — paired with the intentional chaos introduced by extreme campaigns on the right — can be disorienting. Their goal is to distract us from what matters. We can’t let them succeed. There is too much work to be done to lose focus now.

Here are five things to remember:

As a result of the work we’ve done together, Americans across the country will vote in some of the most fair congressional and state legislative districts in a generation.

We have a good shot at electing leaders that will hold the line against MAGA policies and continue to fight for fair maps. This is great news for democracy.

But turnout matters — and it’s where we need to focus right now. Voters have to show up and cast their ballots. With so much attention on the presidential race, our efforts to educate voters about the priority state-level races is absolutely critical.

Gerrymandering still poses a big threat, with opponents of fair maps actively undermining redistricting reforms, electing election deniers, and threatening mid-decade map redraws.

With Trump’s MAGA allies on the ballot in key state-level races, hoping to bring Project 2025 policies into our local communities, we need you now.

Can you make a donation right now to help elect pro-democracy leaders and fair maps champions in 2024 and beyond?
