Jack,

If Democrats want to take the Senate, we must win back the Midwest.

So today, I’m going to tell you about three strong, pro-choice leaders (and fellow moms!) who will get the job done: Senator Tina Smith (Minnesota), Barbara Bollier (Kansas), and Theresa Greenfield (Iowa).

I’m also going to ask you to support their campaigns: If you’re ready to put a stop to Mitch McConnell’s stranglehold on Washington, please split a contribution between Tina, Barbara, and Theresa today.

I’ve spent time with each of these women, and I can tell you: They’re the real deal.

  • As the only member of the Senate to have worked for Planned Parenthood, Senator Tina Smith is a tireless fighter for women’s reproductive rights. Since she came to Washington, she’s worked to deliver results on issues that matter to all Americans: Access to quality, affordable health care, common sense gun reform, and bold action on climate change. Tina’s running against former Congressman Jason Lewis, who has been called Minnesota's “mini-Trump.”

  • Barbara Bollier is a physician, not a politician, running for Kansas’ open Senate seat. You read that right—Kansas. With Barbara’s no-nonsense approach to politics and bipartisan background in the Kansas State Senate, we can win in the Sunflower State. Plus, she’s running against Republican frontrunner Kris Kobach, who lost Kansas’ governor's race in 2018 to Democrat Laura Kelly by five points.

  • Growing up on a farm, Theresa Greenfield learned the values that make her the perfect candidate to flip Iowa’s Senate seat. After Theresa’s first husband tragically died on the job as a union electrical worker, Social Security and workers compensation helped her through tough spots as a single mom. She understands—better than most—just how critical these programs are.

We can take back the Senate majority this November, Jack—and with it, we can build a powerful firewall of women standing up to the GOP’s reckless agenda.

But in order for them to win their tight races against well-funded Republican opponents, they'll need support from each and every one of us.

Please split a contribution between Tina, Barbara, and Theresa’s campaigns today. Join me in investing early in women’s leadership.

Thank you,
Kirsten
