Here's how former President Trump's visit plays in our race:

We know that both the presidential race and the Senate majority will be decided by Michigan – and recent polls show that our race is a dead heat. Cook Political Report recently downgraded our race from “lean Democratic” to “toss up.”

Given that the Senate race is the top of the ticket in the state, we know that whatever happens in our race will impact the presidential race, too. That’s why Trump has given Mike Rogers his full-throated endorsement — and why he’s attacked me directly, by name, calling me a “far-left liberal lunatic.”

If we are going to keep this seat blue in November, we need to hold the line by keeping our own TV ads on the air, doubling down on our field outreach, and continuing to meet voters in every corner of the state.
