I will never forget exactly 6 years ago – watching Christine Blasey Ford sit before the Senate Judiciary Committee, describing how Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her.

Despite her powerful testimony, every single Republican – all 11 of them men – voted to advance Kavanaugh's nomination to the highest court in the land. A position Kavanaugh then used to overturn women's reproductive freedom.
