Hello Friend,
This week marks the start of "Climate
Week" in New York City. In participation with the United
Nations, NGOs, business executives, and politicians will join for over
600 sessions with the theme "It's Time." A message of
urgency, that unfortunately falls far short of the reality.

The climate crisis demands a set of bold solutions that need to be
enacted NOW. So, what is actually happening
at the United Nations during this year’s “Climate Week”? It is as
usual, dominated by corporate interests, greenwashing initiatives, and
the leaders of the world’s largest polluters usually calling the
shots. Climate justice activists are hosting peripheral events and
there are the usual protests. It was three years ago that the UN
Secretary General declared that it is Code Red on climate change and
slow walking climate action by elected officials has opened up the
Gates of Hell. Since then, the parties of War and Wall Street have
fast tracked this country and the world right down to those gates.
This madness stops now by electing Green Party candidates who will
cut-off funding for fossil fuel infrastructure, make polluters pay and
change the U.S. from being the second largest emitter of greenhouse
gasses to a leader in putting people and planet over profits.

“If elected president, on Day One, I will declare a
climate emergency and unleash $1 trillion in funds to begin
implementing the Green Party’s signature Green New Deal, which calls
for a 100% clean renewable energy transition by 2030, massive
investments in green businesses and infrastructure, and an end to
fossil fuel extraction.”

While millionaire and billionaire executives and politicians are
enjoying luxury accommodations and debating "market-based climate
solutions" and "green growth" the Green Party is shouting out that
"IT'S WAY PAST TIME!" for the radical climate action
we need to save a habitable planet.
Resolving the existential threat posed by climate change requires
building a different world, one committed to principles of
sustainability and the common good. We cannot count on "market-based
solutions" and the infinite growth delusions of end-stage capitalism.
The Green Party is the only national party with the
plans, the commitment, fully committed to effective climate action and
with the plans to make that action a reality.
The Green Party takes no corporate money. The only special
interests we're serving are yours, our donors! Please consider a
donation to help the Green Party today.

Your donation will help strengthen
the Green Party’s efforts to build a better world. Act like our lives
depend on it, since they do.
Looking to get involved? Join the
EcoAction committee on Monday,
October 14 to hear how Green Party candidates at the
federal, state, and local levels are campaigning for strong climate
and environmental actions.

Deal. You can learn more about the original ecosocialist Green
New Deal on our website. You can also find printable
