Our race in Florida is heating up, friend — and Republicans are doing everything they can to keep me from defeating Rick Scott in November. But here's the thing: I'm catching up in the polls, and it's all thanks to supporters like you.

I can't stress enough how important this fundraising goal is for me, my campaign, and for Americans across the country. The future of our democracy hangs in the balance, and my race in Florida could determine Senate control and the next Senate majority leader.

With Rick Scott and other GOP extremists threatening to push a dangerous, right-wing agenda forward that rolls back reproductive rights, cuts Social Security and Medicare, and repeals the Affordable Care Act, it's incredibly important for us to stop them. 

That's why I'm saying ya no más to extremist Republicans who are more interested in making a profit and advancing their own political careers than they are in protecting their constituents. Rick Scott has failed Floridians, and I've had enough. It's time we give our Sunshine State the leadership it deserves.

I've got what it takes to win, but I can't do it alone, friend. 

In this final stretch of the cycle, we need to make sure my campaign has all the resources at our disposal so we can expand our voter outreach, keep our ads on the air, and fight back against Rick Scott's personal war chest of NINE figures.
