Your elected leaders can either work to make life easier for working families, or they can work to make life easier for corporate special interests. They can’t do both.

I know where I stand: I’m fighting every day to make life more affordable for Oregon families who are struggling — by lowering the cost of housing, making health care more affordable, and holding corporations accountable when they try to get out of paying their fair share.

If you believe that the American people deserve representatives who fight for them, even (especially) when it means standing up to entrenched special interests, I am humbly asking for your support today — because this race is tied, and we need all the help we can get.

I know what it’s likewhen it feels like your family is doing everything right but still can’t get ahead.

My parents worked day and night to show me that with hard work, anything is possible. But even with all that hard work, it wasn’t enough to pay for my education — not without jeopardizing their ability to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. So I channeled their spirit and worked multiple jobs while in college to earn my degree.

That’s one of the reasons I’m so committed to building an economy that puts working families before wealthy corporations. There is so much more we can do to help hard-working folks who are struggling today — but we need leaders who will commit to that work, which means we need to win this next election.
