On September 30th, our campaign will close the books on our final end-of-quarter deadline of this election and report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission. Shortly after, that report will be made public.

That means everyone — including Eric Hovde and the dark money groups supporting him — will see how much we've raised and, more importantly, how many supporters like you have pitched in.

Our numbers will be under close watch. If Republicans think we look weak, they’ll divert even more resources to our race to flip my seat red.

My opponent and his allies have already spent $50 million on TV and digital ads attacking my campaign, and it seems to be working — RealClearPolitics just moved our race from “Leans Democrat” to “Toss Up.”

We can’t afford to come up short on our goal and send a message to Republicans and their megadonors that Wisconsin’s Senate seat is ripe for the taking. But we still have quite a bit of ground to make up in order to hit our goal.
