Last week, Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia announced [link removed] his retirement from law enforcement. He is leaving Dallas for Austin, where

**he will serve serve under Dallas's disgraced former City Manager, T.C. Broadnax.** The announcement came a few months after Chief Garcia had committed to the City of Dallas that he would stay on as police chief for a few more years - and just 7 months after Broadnax announced his early departure.

**Why is Dallas losing so many senior staff to a smaller city? Our City Council continues to avoid accountability for the culture of failure they have created.**

Instead, Leftist Council members like Adam Bazaldua are peddling scapegoat [link removed] misinformation aimed at??the Dallas HERO Initiative. It is the way of "bureaucrazies" to point fingers away from those who are truly responsible for ill turns.

**Our feckless City Council has no one to blame but themselves.** They allowed T.C. Broadnax to ruin Dallas and retreat to Austin with nearly half a million dollars in "severance" pay. Now he is poaching veteran staff from Dallas!??
