Both Kamala Harris and I are up against a far-right extremist whose message of hatred and division is dangerous for our future.

CNN reported that my radical, Trump-endorsed opponent Mark Robinson called himself a “Nazi” and wrote, “Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves.”

If that’s not enough, he backs a total abortion ban in North Carolina — he was just caught on tape saying he wants abortion access to be illegal at “zero” weeks.

John, he’s unfit to govern our state.

But this race is going to be tight — statewide races in North Carolina nearly always are. And Robinson and the national GOP have spent millions attacking me.

Kamala Harris has reminded us again and again that we can’t go backward — and she’s right. But we are running out of time to sway the undecided voters who could tip this election in our favor. We can’t risk coming up short.
