We need your help to reach this goal and win this election.
John,
We know you’ve heard from us a lot this month about our upcoming end-of-quarter goal. So we wanted to take a minute to explain why we’re talking about it so much, and what’s at stake when it comes to this goal in particular.
If you don’t have the time to read (or if you’re already an expert on the Federal Election Commission and its various disclosure deadlines),
you can pitch in $3 here to help us reach our $34,000 goal before 11:59pm on Monday.
The FEC requires campaigns to publicly disclose all of their fundraising on a quarterly basis. And next Monday, September 30th, is the last day of the last full quarter before Election Day.
That means we’ll be publicly reporting everything we’ve raised up until that point, so it’s important that those numbers reflect how strong this people-powered movement really is.
Meeting our $34,000 goal before the deadline will ensure we have the resources to knock on doors, make phone calls, send texts, run ads, and more here in Seattle and in swing states across the country. And in a close election like this one could be, every single voter we reach could make the difference.
But it also sends a message. It shows Republicans that the progressive movement is strong, and could make them think twice about last minute spending sprees in the swing states where our campaign is helping other Democrats. And it shows other Democrats that funding a people-powered campaign without corporate PAC money is possible even in hard-fought elections.
With so much on the line for our democracy, our rights, and more, we need your help to reach this goal and win this election, John.
Can we count on you to pitch in $3 today to help us reach our $34,000 end-of-quarter goal? Together we can send Pramila back to Congress, elect Kamala Harris, and make real progress happen.
