Last week, we wrote to you about how Donald Trump is directing his lackeys in Congress to harass the VA because they are legally registering Veterans to vote.

It’s unconscionable that this traitor is trying to suppress the votes of the men and women who fought for this country. Full stop. But he hasn’t quit.

Now, Trump is attacking UOCAVA — the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Voting Abroad Act. UOCAVA voters are Active Duty Military on deployment, and Trump wants their votes thrown out.

Trump is already signaling that he will attack and seek to cancel many or all of their votes, in the name of "protecting them." This is what you do when you think uniformed members of the Armed Services are "suckers and losers," like Trump said.

The election is in less than 40 days. Trump’s gearing up to suppress the votes of Veterans and Active Duty, and that means we’ve got a lot of work to do.

A critical piece of infrastructure every year is VoteVets’ efforts to reach and turn out Veterans. Vet-to-Vet texting is a big part of that. Right now, we’re working on our targeting — the data we’ll use to cut lists and build out our network. Then we’ll mobilize our staff and volunteers. And then we’re going to let it rip, and text through hundreds of thousands of Veterans in critical swing seats and states to turn the tide.

Voter contact is the surest way to ensure the outcomes we need to see this November, and reaching the right voters with the right messengers is essential. We’re filling that role, and we could use your help to make it happen.

If that sounds worth a donation of $5 or $10, please: Contribute what you can to VoteVets today and help us hold the line and WIN this November. Or, pick a donation using the buttons below..
