In 2022, control of the Maine state house was decided by just a couple thousand voters in key districts, so every vote matters. These two volunteer opportunities are great ways to reach voters in your community – no experience required!

We’re recruiting volunteers to join us in making tens of thousands of calls to voters between now and Election Day. Joining our phone bank is an easy way to make a difference right from the comfort of your own home!

Write a letter to the editor

Are you interested in making your voice heard, but prefer to do so in writing? Please join us for a Maine Conservation Voices storytelling workshop to write a letter to the editor (LTE) of your local newspaper in support of environmental champions running for the Maine State Legislature! We’ll gather virtually on Thursday, October 10th from 12-1 PM to go over how to write a good LTE to advocate for the candidates you want to see in office.

Letters to the editor of your local newspaper are an important tool for lifting up candidates who support protecting the environment and our democracy and acting on climate. We’ll go through the process together to make it as easy as possible – please sign up to join us here! [[link removed]]
