Voters: Improve Border Security, Update Asylum and Legal Immigration - Just months before Election Day, voters remain stalwart in their support for Republicans and Democrats working together on border and immigration solutions. When asked “Would you support or oppose Republicans and Democrats working together, this year, to pass immigration reforms that would get serious about improving border security, update our asylum system, and bring legal immigration into the 21st century so we can create more jobs and reduce labor shortages and inflation," 76% of registered voters expressed support for such solutions. The spread was 73%-18% among self-identified conservatives.

Arrington Introduces Legislation to Counter Unfair Foreign Trade Practices -  House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) introduced H.R. 9724 - the Axing Nonmarket Tariff Evasion (ANTE) Act - legislation to defend the American economy from nonmarket entities using third countries to avoid U.S. trade enforcement. “For far too long, adversaries like China have cheated the American economy and cost the U.S. millions of jobs by utilizing unfair trade practices,” said Chairman Arrington. “The Axing Non-Market Tariff Evasion Act would proactively stop foreign, state-owned businesses from using third countries as a backdoor to evade U.S. tariffs and bolster the American economy in the process.”

House Passes Luttrell, Correa Bipartisan Emerging Innovative Border Technologies Act to Enhance National Security - Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) and Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA), members of the House Border Security and Enforcement Subcommittee, recently introduced the Emerging Innovative Border Technologies Act, which officially passed in the U.S. House of Representatives this week with strong bipartisan support. This groundbreaking legislation will require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to present a comprehensive plan to Congress aimed at identifying, integrating, and deploying cutting-edge technologies to enhance border security operations.
