During the Crisis, FRC Has Stood for Truth

Dear John,

For nonprofit, religious, and charity groups, today marks a landmark global response to difficulties resulting from the coronavirus crisis. It's called GivingTuesdayNow, a 24-hour period designed to spark an increase in grassroots generosity.

You may be familiar with GivingTuesday, promoted every year the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to highlight the vital work of nonprofit groups. This spring, unprecedented needs have arisen for nonprofits in the wake of COVID-19 and a special giving day has been organized.

Across the U.S., our local congregations have transitioned to online services for some weeks now. Even as believers lead the way in reaching out to our neighbors, many churches are hurting financially. I hope you will start today by giving first to your home church.

While you focus on keeping your loved ones safe, FRC has not stopped being your eyes and ears on the ground here in Washington, D.C., guarding your faith, family, and freedoms.

That's why generous friends of FRC have put forward a $20,000 Challenge to match your donation, dollar for dollar.

If you're able at this time, will you seize this opportunity to double the impact of your support for the important mission of FRC?

DOUBLE MY GIFT

To respond to the crisis, Congress and the Trump administration have crafted emergency relief bills and other policies.

Unfortunately, we've seen in recent weeks how the radical Left has attempted to exploit this crisis to undermine biblical values... including sneaking funds for their unrelated causes into those bills.

Yet FRC policy experts and government affairs team have been on the case, carefully reviewing these massive bills, advising policymakers, and raising the alarm to the public. FRC has been on the frontlines shaping policies through:

  • Fighting to keep abortion funding and expansion out of the relief bills, based on the overwhelming views of U.S. taxpayers against public funding of abortion.
  • Partnering with allied organizations and congressional leaders to stop the nation's largest abortion provider -- Planned Parenthood and its affiliates -- from gaining access to small business loans funded by taxpayers.
  • Ensuring that those who are doing critical work in helping their communities through this crisis -- churches and ministries -- are eligible to receive relief funds.
  • Upholding the biblical view of marriage by scoring a vote and defeating a "domestic partner" amendment that would have undermined the definition of family in a relief bill.

Every dollar of your gift today will be doubled thanks to the $20,000 Challenge Match to further FRC's effective work of education and mobilization.

Will you partner with us and ensure we can continue advancing your values?

ADVANCE THE MISSION

Just as this crisis has been global, so too has our work of analysis and advocacy.

The coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted the persecuted church and religious liberty around the world. In some cases, the difficulties they face have been worsened by the responses of foreign governments.

FRC team members have researched and shared in-depth accounts with policy makers of how believers are being impacted, at home and abroad.

Our vision is a prevailing culture in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives. Despite the difficulties of the current moment, we count it a privilege to be your voice in the halls of power.

Thank you for standing with us, including with your support on GivingTuesdayNow. If you would like to give by phone, please call 800-225-4008 during normal business hours.
