Fellow SCC Members,
Last night the court rendered a ruling on the most important question that was facing the State Party: Who is the only legitimate Chairman?
Here's its ruling:
“Article V.C required a supermajority vote of the entire CRC voting membership before Williams, Scheppelman, and Ferguson could be removed. It should be clear, in this context, that a minority of members did not have the authority to eliminate the requirement of a supermajority vote and thus give themselves the power to do what the Bylaws forbade them from doing.
The vote to remove Williams, Scheppelman, and Ferguson was not in accordance with the CRC's Bylaws, and it is accordingly void and of no effect."
It went on to "DISMISS WITH PREJUDICE" the main claims from Watkins & Bremer. See below:
Please know that your true State Party Officers will seek all legal accountability, in and out of court, against Watkins, Bremer, and those who worked in the shadows to sow chaos and orchestrate an unlawful coup against the majority will.
The majority of our State Party always knew that none of the officers were rightfully removed, or replaced, by a fringe minority faction just because they screamed the loudest while the liberal press and crooked pundits carried they divisive message.
While we will seek legal accountability against these failed usurpers, the rest of our State Party must unite to defeat the radical Democrats with the remaining time we have left before November.
The work of the State Party will move forward, and we ask all Republicans to join our efforts as we win for our nominees and President Donald J. Trump.
For Justice,
Dave Williams
Chairman, Colorado Republican Party
P.S. While we won the central question in the case, the trial is still scheduled for other ancillary and secondary questions that will have no impact on yesterday's dismissal. We anticipate successfully winning those questions before the court... assuming Watkins and Bremer wish to continue their failed cause. We will keep you posted as developments unfold.
