Friend,
I recently went to my home county fair, and it got me thinking about how the small town of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and the great people of my county helped shape who I am today.
I know this is a long message, but I hope you will read it all the way to the end.
Growing up, my family lived on campus at Bloomsburg State College and my parents owned a farm ten minutes down the road.
I had summer jobs baling hay and trimming Christmas trees at nearby farms.
My dad started his career teaching history, economics, & democracy at Punxsutawney High. My mom began teaching fourth through sixth graders at a public school near Pittsburgh.

I’m incredibly proud that my dad was chosen to be president of Bloomsburg State College (now Bloomsburg University) at only 34 years old. I’m so proud of my parents’ teaching careers and to have been raised in Bloomsburg. It was there that I wrestled and played football and was nominated to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. And it was there that I came home to a parade after serving in combat during the Gulf War.

The small rural town of Bloomsburg shaped who I am. I’m proud to be a 7th–generation Pennsylvania and I’m ready to get to work to help the great people of our state.
All this is to say, I’ve lived the American Dream, and I am so grateful for the opportunities that America and Pennsylvania have afforded me.
BUT, I am worried that the American Dream is slipping away. Career politicians like my opponent Bob Casey and Kamala Harris are doing NOTHING to stop inflation, allowing rampant crime to go unchecked, and allowing dangerous drugs to cross our borders in excess. Their policies have made America weaker, and I can’t sit back and let that happen. I’m running for U.S. Senate to shake up the status quo.
I know we’ve only got a little bit of time left until Election Day, and the latest poll has Bob Casey and me in a dead heat. That’s why every dollar during this final stretch is so important. We have a chance to send a leader to Washington who will look out for the great people of our state and put Pennsylvanians first.
But in order to win this race, I am going to need your help to get it done.
Can I count on you to chip in $10, $50, $100, or more to my campaign today?
Thank you for all of your support.
Thank you,
Dave McCormick
