Hi John, In just FOUR weeks, we’ll be making history for elephants and the fight for nonhuman rights.
On October 24th, the Colorado Supreme Court will hear our arguments on behalf of Jambo, LouLou, Lucky, Missy, and Kimba–five elephants currently living in captivity at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We’re advocating for their right to liberty and release to a sanctuary. This case is not just a first-of-its-kind in Colorado, but also a monumental step forward for nonhuman rights across the country. After being torn from the wild and their herds when they were young, the CMZ Elephants have spent their lives in captivity, and elephant rights is their path to freedom and possibly the freedom of elephants everywhere. We hope you’ll help us make the most of this crucial moment. |
