The 120 Aramark janitors who keep American University safe and clean have been at the bargaining table fighting for a new contract. These workers risked their lives working through the COVID pandemic to keep AU open and safe for students, even losing beloved colleagues along the way. But their wages haven't kept up with rising costs of everything from food to rent.?

Their demands are fair and simple:

1. A fair contract.
2. To have wages that keep up with inflation.
3. To have respect and dignity on the job.

SEIU 32BJ Aramark Janitors need you to show up and show out! Join us tomorrow afternoon at American University (4400 Massachusetts Ave NW, Bender Library) to show the administration that our community's solidarity is stronger than their attempts to keep the union down!
