Dear Friend,


At VOA, we believe that ending homelessness and hunger demands ingenuity,
vision and compassion. **Introducing our newest groundbreaking initiative:**
**Innovative Dwellings Units.
**

For this bold, new housing solution, **we repurposed shipping containers, even
tiny homes, to create sustainable, affordable housing for veterans and their
families facing homelessness**. (It almost looks like a transformative
makeover on an _HGTV show_!)



Imagine what these home spaces mean to their new residents:
- A living room offers ** peace and focus for a veteran** to rebuild their life

\- A kitchen table becomes **the hub where kids eat meals and do their
homework **
- A place to call home. Our Innovative dwellings **restore dignity, hope and independence to veterans and their families** who have often felt forgotten.

Residents also receive wraparound services like mental health care, job
training, and addiction recovery support. In this way, U.S. veterans not only
find a home but also receive the tools they need for long-term success.



Innovative Dwellings are setting the standard for the future of affordable
housing. **And you, as a friend of VOA, are connected to these pioneering
efforts** and other transformative work happening every day in VOA centers and
programs across the U.S.
