The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) members are in negotiations with USPS management for a new contract right now. Can you join us at a rally near you?

Hi John,

The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) represents 200,000 postal workers whom we all rely on to deliver life-saving medications, essential documents, meaningful birthday and holiday cards and even vote-by-mail ballots.

APWU members are in negotiations right now with U.S. Postal Service (USPS) management. They’re demanding a good contract with fair pay and benefits, increased transparency and accountability for senior postal leadership, and a commitment to improving mail service year-round.

There’s an event near you where you can support these postal workers. Can we count on you to attend?

Rallies for the People’s Post Office
Near you
Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024

For this year’s presidential election, USPS will deploy “extraordinary measures” to make sure that mail-in ballots are delivered on time. While postal workers are gearing up to make this election a success, they’re also ringing the alarm bells about short staffing and poorly executed management plans affecting other mail—with no accountability to the American people.

These issues threaten the very fabric of our communities and affect every single person in America. We deserve a strong post office that serves the people for generations. That means improving staffing, raising service standards and ensuring that postal workers win the strong contract they deserve.

Please join us at an event near you.

In Solidarity,

Team AFL-CIO

P.S. If you can’t make it to an event on Oct. 1, please sign APWU’s petition in solidarity with postal workers fighting for a better post office at apwu.org/better-post-office.
