Voting in the November Election has started, Friend. This is a critical election and it’s important for you to participate and make your voice heard. The future of our state and nation hinges on this election.

You have many options when it comes to voting, one being voting with an absentee ballot. Absentee voting is convenient and easy. You can vote at home on your own schedule. You can cast your ballot by mailing it in without making an extra trip in your already busy life.

You can vote today by picking up a vote-by-mail absentee ballot at your local election clerk’s office [[link removed]] ! All you have to do is ask the staff for an absentee ballot and you can fill it out and return it during the same visit!

You can also request an absentee ballot by filling out an application online at mi.gov/vote [[link removed]] . Request your absentee ballot as soon as possible so you have enough time to receive it, fill it out, and return it. Also, make sure you opt-in to the Permanent Absentee List to receive a ballot in future elections.

Your clerk's office must receive your ballot by 8 PM on Election Day, November 5th so make sure you return it ASAP. Mail it in (Team Dingell recommends putting your ballot in the mail no later than October 22nd), drop it in a secure drop box, or return it in person to your clerk's office.

If you are not registered to vote yet, you can register to vote and cast your absentee ballot during the same visit at your city or township clerk’s office. If you aren’t sure if you’re registered, don’t worry – you can check your voter registration here [[link removed]] .

If you prefer to vote in person, you can vote early at a designated early vote center [[link removed]] or vote on Election Day at your polling place [[link removed]] . It’s entirely up to you!

Voting in this election is critical and I want you to make your voices heard this November!

Thank you for making your voting plan,

– Debbie
