Come to the Roles Fayre to hear some XR teams describe their vital role behind the scenes in keeping XRUK on the road. Whether you’re into admin, organising, or ideas - there’s a place for you.
What's it like to volunteer with XR?
New joiners are often surprised by the amount of autonomy they have, and enjoy how different it feels to an average day at work. If you have some XR experience that’s amazing, and if you’re new, training is available.
Roles aren't one size fits all.
Want a lot of responsibility? There are roles for you. Want small tasks with no regular meetings? We have those too. Already in an XR team and want to try something new? We’d love to see you. Nearly all roles are remote too.
What happens at the Roles Fayre?
Teams will describe what they do, followed by breakout rooms to hear more and ways to get involved. There is no obligation to sign up for a role immediately and there is plenty of time for questions.
