Nebraska's state parks are your place for Halloween fun. More than a dozen state park areas are hosting family-friendly events on weekends in October, including trick-or-treating, haunted hayrack rides, campsite decorating contests and much more.

Sherman accessibility project temporarily to close two boat ramps
Improved accessibility is coming to Sherman Reservoir State Recreation Area, temporarily affecting the availability of some boat ramps. The project begins Sept. 28 and will improve wheelchair access to the boat docks.
