Big news: The campaign arm of the Senate Democrats just made a multi-million dollar investment into Florida to ensure Debbie Mucarsel-Powell defeats Rick Scott.

As Senate Majority Leader and the leader of our Democratic Senate caucus, let me tell you: This sort of thing doesn't happen every day. It only happens when we have incredible candidates like Debbie and when all signs point to the race being winnable. 

Seriously, friend.

We're spending big in Florida to help Debbie defeat Rick Scott because this is one of the best pickup opportunities of the election — and if Debbie wins, it will all but assure Democrats hold the Senate. 

There are many reasons I personally feel so confident in Debbie's ability to win. One of them is you, friend. Debbie has built a phenomenal grassroots team that has helped her compete all the way to being just 1 point behind Rick Scott in the polls. That, friend, is a very big deal. 

Now that this news is public, I have no doubt Republicans will do everything in their power to outspend us in this critical race.
