[link removed] [[link removed]] The stakes are high this November, friend.

While we work towards this historic win for Vice President Kamala Harris, six fearless leaders up and down the ballot are fighting for the responsive, People-first government we deserve.

But they need your support to get there, and we have just 40 days until the election. Will you join this fight by volunteering to support these People-centered champions TODAY? [[link removed]]

I endorsed these candidates for a reason.

Assemblymember Dr. Akilah Weber authored over 15 bills to expand access to healthcare, increase transparency and accountability in our jail systems, and protect survivors of violence.

My Board colleagues Chairwoman Nora Vargas and Vice Chair Terra Lawson-Remer show up for our County every day, fighting for affordable housing, reproductive justice , healthcare equity , equitable access to County services and programs, and much more .

My former colleague Council President Sean Elo-Rivera works tirelessly to tackle homelessness, increase well-paying job opportunities, implement holistic public safety policies, and reverse the effects of climate change in San Diego and beyond .

School Board Trustee Dr. Darshana Patel is a strong advocate for economic opportunity, bold climate action, affordable healthcare, mental health and addiction treatment, and investing in our small businesses and public schools.

And Dr. LaShae Sharp-Collins helped pass legislation to protect communities of color from violence and increased transparency and accountability in public school funding in the Assembly District she is now running to represent.

I truly believe in these six candidates and proudly support their commitment to our shared vision for a region that puts the People first.

That’s why I will be making calls, knocking doors, and talking to my neighbors through November 5th. Will you join me? Volunteer to support these People-centered leaders TODAY! [[link removed]]

In solidarity,
Monica
