Nat Williams here with some truly wonderful news – last night the Utah Supreme Court unanimously ruled to support the District Court’s decision to void Constitutional Amendment D! While Constitutional Amendment D will still appear on ballots (which have already been printed), votes for or against the amendment will not be counted.
The court’s decision upholds our checks and balances, supports Utahn’s constitutional right to reform our government for a second time, and validates the lower court’s finding that the ballot language was too misleading for voters.
We could not have achieved this outcome without your help. Your commitment to stopping this power grab from our legislature is nothing short of inspiring. Thank you for rallying with us, contacting your legislators, educating your communities, and so much more.

Unfortunately, this work is not done. While we celebrate this massive win for democracy, we must also prepare for potential backlash come the legislative session. We know that there will be huge attacks against our judiciary in the upcoming legislative session, and we’ll be standing by to fight back.
