Howdy John, it’s Shad,
Since becoming Chair, I’ve been clear about our mission: the next frontier for Colorado politics is local.
Why?
Republicans continue to hold strong majorities in critical county and local-level offices. In many cases, this is because these races go uncontested. We’re changing that because you can never win if you don’t compete.
That’s why, over the summer, we launched the Colorado County Comeback.
This initiative is designed to build up our bench by recruiting and supporting county and local-level candidates and growing our rural parties by providing the resources needed to build election-winning infrastructure.
We've already made investments in our county parties like Mesa, Alamosa, Grand, Teller, Lincoln, Park, Huerfano, Pueblo, El Paso among others, with more to come!
The impact we make in local communities leads toward statewide gains by building up our bench of talent, strengthening our party, and competing in places we’ve too often left unsupported so that Coloradans have a real choice in every election.
This November, we can win big, not just at the top of the ballot but on every part of the ballot, if we put in the hard work now. If you’re with us, please contribute whatever you can to the Colorado County Comeback today >>
