Hey Comrades,

Due to warnings of Hurricane Helene quickly approaching Georgia, all weekend events will be canceled Sept. 27-29th, including our chapter General Meeting, which was originally scheduled for Saturday Sept. 28 and will be rescheduled for Saturday Oct. 5. We are still holding our Pride Parade art build Monday, Sept. 30. Please read the section below for more information on rescheduled events.

As of right now, all of Metro Atlanta is under a tropical storm warning, and the hurricane is expected to hit Georgia tonight into Friday morning. We strongly urge our members and supporters to stay safe this weekend, and read about best practices for keeping you and your loved ones safe.

Due to Hurricane Helene, our General Meeting will be rescheduled to next Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2PM at 711 Catherine St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. We will hear the latest from our chapter's campaigns and committees, discuss current events in the chapter, and debate and vote on resolutions. All members are encouraged to attend! This month we will be choosing a new chapter logo!

What is Atlanta DSA? Whether you just joined DSA, you’re a longtime member looking to get more involved, or you want to know whether DSA might be your political home, this info session and Q&A will be a chance to learn more about socialism and DSA and to get an overview of our chapter.

Last year, Atlanta DSA joined labor unions and the Atlanta North-Georgia Labor Council to march in the Atlanta Pride Parade! It was so much fun that we're doing it again. Sign up HERE to march in the parade Sunday Oct. 13, and join us later on for some art builds and planning meetings. All are welcome - invite your coworkers and union siblings!

Since the beginning of the year we have been fighting the Delta Disparity Difference that we face as regional Flight Attendants. To continue making progress, we need to turn up the heat in our campaign. We have planned awareness pickets and need your help to make them a success. Together, on Thursday, October 03 at 1PM Outside Delta HQ at 1030 Delta Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30354 we’ll raise our voices and make sure that Delta management and Ed Bastian do the right thing and pay Endeavor Flight Attendants to reflect the profits our work creates.  

Together we are pushing our careers forward - battling corporate greed.
