Dear John,

This World Contraception Day, I must stress the importance of protecting access to birth control for people across the United States. While there is a constitutional right to contraception, the Supreme Court could overturn this right like they did with Roe. We need Congress to protect our access to birth control by supporting the Right to Contraception Act NOW!

The Right to Contraception Act is important because it would codify the right to birth control in federal law. It ensures that individuals and providers are safeguarded, no matter where they live. Anti-abortion extremists continue to attack reproductive rights, and recent polling shows that voters across ideologies are concerned about the security of their access to contraception, and many believe there’s a real possibility the Supreme Court could overturn this right.

We cannot let that happen. Everyone must have the ability to make their own decisions about contraception without facing unnecessary barriers or threats. Let’s ensure that the right to contraception is protected nationwide. Together, we can make sure everyone has access to the birth control they need. Urge Congress to support and pass the Right to Contraception Act TODAY!
