John, I remember how I felt on election night two years ago and never want to feel that way again.
2 years ago, I lost by 0.7%. I remember the agony of defeat, and I’m determined not to have that happen again in November.
I’m traveling to every town in my district to make up that deficit, even “deep blue” towns like New Britain, because I know voters from every corner are fed up with Jahana Hayes’s poor leadership. I’m ready to win this election and bring common-sense leadership back to Congress.
Everywhere I go in the 5th District, I hear the same issues at the top of voters' minds – inflation, border security, the economy – and yet Jahana Hayes continues to turn a blind eye and go along with whatever her party bosses tell her to do, even if it hurts families like yours.
I REFUSE to do that.
I will be a voice for the people of Connecticut’s 5th District, not a rubber stamp for whatever the party elites want. Jahana Hayes is part of the problem in Washington, and we need new leadership to deliver results.
