Good evening,

Let me begin by saying thank you.

Your generosity helped us meet our April fundraising goal so we can continue to run a campaign powered by people — instead of corporate special interests. Nearly 2,000 grassroots supporters gave to our campaign. Thank you.

I also wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that last Friday was May Day, a time when we acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of workers across the globe.

This year, I am especially grateful for those workers serving our communities on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19. Many of those workers are still fighting for workplace protections that they deserve and need.

Thank you to the first responders, medical personnel, health care workers, grocery workers, delivery and mail carriers and all those who go to work each day to ensure our families continue to be safe and healthy.

You inspire us with your courage and service.

The fight for fairness is far from over and we have a lot to do before Election Day. With you by my side, I know that people power will prevail over dark money and powerful special interests. Thank you again for your generous support.

More soon —

Bob

P.S. Some of you have asked how to keep in touch with me and our campaign while we are sheltered in place. The best way to stay up to date on the latest news is to follow us through social media on Facebook and Twitter.

Our top priority is slowing the spread of COVID-19. Consequently, we canceled all in-person campaign events for the foreseeable future and are relying on digital outreach. We appreciate your support during this challenging time.
