Friend, it's been a tough few weeks for House Republicans.
They really, really want to take back the House next year. But that's going to be tough if their Members don't want to run for reelection.
So far, 11 Republicans in the House have decided to retire after this session -- and we expect even more to come. Check out this story in Politico:

Here's what's happening: after Democrats took back the House in 2018, Republicans in competitive districts would rather throw in the towel than face a strong candidate who is ready to clean up Washington. That's exactly what happened with Rep. Susan Brooks (IN-05) and Rep. Will Hurd (TX-23).
And here's the thing -- NewDems are already supporting strong candidates that have what it takes to flip these districts blue.
