You might have noticed over the past year how we’ve leaned into making long-form, deep-dive documentaries. The response to these has been incredible.

As of today, less than a month after its release, more than 2 million people have watched our most recent documentary, Red Power!

With all our oil and gas reserves, we don’t typically think Texas is at risk when it comes to cheap, reliable energy. Red Power reveals the truth about just how vulnerable we are. Our grid is insecure, our energy sources are unreliable, and nearly all the money we’re spending to “fix” the problem is going to our nation’s greatest geopolitical adversary: China.

Virtually no one has been discussing this problem and the significant risks we face if we don’t address it. They are now!

Thanks to support from thousands of citizens across the state, Texas Scorecard is tackling stories like this one. But, as y’all keep telling us, we must do more. Your gift of $200, $100, or even $30 will help Texas Scorecard produce more documentaries like Red Power.
