Howdy John ,
Greg here with Stewardship Utah. We wrapped up our Garbett Homes match campaign this past Sunday, and while we fell a bit short of our $50,000 goal we are so grateful and excited at the show of support our community gave.
It is not easy to rebrand two organizations into one. Stewardship Utah has the legacies of both the Rural Utah Project and O2 Utah as the base on which we build our movement. However, as a new organization, staff are working hard to bring Stewardship Utah to our communities, build brand recognition, as well as nitty gritty issues on our backend (spam jail is real!).
But our community stepped up! We raised a whopping $35,460 that will go to knocking doors, supporting climate champions in leadership, building bold but necessary model policy, and creating a clean and more democratic Utah, for all Utahns.

Though we fell short of $50,000, Stewardship Utah is excited by the ambition and engagement of our supporters in our inaugural match campaign. We saw 23 first-time donors (welcome and thank you!), supporters re-engaging with our work after taking some time off, and inspiration taken from the initiative shown by Garbett Homes to do better in homebuilding and real estate. But most importantly, we saw that many of you are ready to take action alongside Stewardship Utah .
We are humbled by the generosity of our communities and want to thank you for your gifts. We are incredibly grateful to Garbett Homes for being a leader in their field and supporting our efforts to make change locally.
In gratitude,
