I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, in a community of ironworkers, carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family's farm. Today, I live in Cleveland with my wife, Connie, and our two rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter.

I’ll be honest with you, friend: Over the years in Ohio, we've seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas because of bad trade deals, prices skyrocketing as wages failed to keep up, and hopes for a comfortable retirement dashed.

That's why I've devoted my life to fighting for the Dignity of Work – the belief that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you do. 

But my MAGA opponent can't say the same. He’s backing terrible pieces of Trump and Vance’s Project 2025, which would eliminate overtime protections and end unions as we know them. It’s an affront to the good folks of Ohio and across America who work hard every day to support themselves and their families.

So now I’m in the fight of my life to defend Ohio’s seat and our Democratic Senate majority. I'm down 2 points in a recent poll, and national Republicans are outspending us 2-to-1 to flip this seat.

I can't win without your help. So just 13 days out from the start of early in-person voting, I'm asking: Will you chip in $5 or more now to help me keep fighting for Ohioans and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

This might be shocking, but our race is not only the most expensive Senate race in the country – it's the most expensive Senate race in history. And it's because national Republicans know it'll decide Senate control, so they're spending everything they can to defeat me. Now, the latest polls show me falling behind.

I simply cannot win this race – and Democrats simply cannot hold on to our narrow Senate majority – without your grassroots support, friend.
