Every SCF-endorsed candidate must undergo a vetting process to help us determine whether they share our principles and values and, more importantly, will actually fight for them after the election. Every candidate must also run a professional campaign capable of winning.

 

But creating a list of conservative candidates is just the beginning; we also give you an effective way to fund their campaigns!

 

The best way to support a candidate financially is to donate to their campaigns. Once you move away from the candidate’s campaign — whether it be a party committee, joint-fundraising committee, PAC, or other organization — your contribution's effectiveness declines.

 

However, donating to multiple candidates can be complicated and time-consuming, and there could be hidden fees and expenses that make this less beneficial to the candidates.

 

That's why SCF allows you to donate to multiple candidates with one payment and why SCF pays all fundraising expenses related to those contributions.

 

This saves candidates a ton of money.

 

As you know, processing fees are charged for all online transactions. What you probably don’t know is that candidates also often pay steep fundraising commissions to third-party vendors, which are at least 80% of the value of your contribution. Candidates have to pay outside vendors to help them find new donors across the country, and this service is quite expensive.

 

That means that when you get an email or text message from a candidate and click on the link to donate $100 to that candidate, the candidate will often get less than $20 after expenses.

 

This is why you should donate to candidates through SCF whenever possible. It’s one of the only ways to guarantee that the candidate will get 100% of your contribution with no hidden fees or expenses.
