Dear Friends,

Today, Congress passed a Continuing Resolution to fund the Biden-Harris Administration's government through December.

I voted no on this CR and refuse to support continued government spending while millions of dollars flow overseas, our border remains open, and our communities are ravaged by crime. I will continue fighting to hold our government accountable for its reckless spending practices.

Sincerely,

Fighting For Your Social Security Benefits

Last week, I signed a discharge petition designed to bring H.R.82, the Social Security Fairness Act, to the floor for a vote. This critical legislation will eliminate the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) that have unfairly penalized our nation's heroes—our police officers, firefighters, teachers, and other public employees—for too long.

Eliminating the WEP and GPO will be a win for public employees and the integrity of our Social Security system. I look forward to voting in favor of H.R.82 on the House floor and protecting your social security benefits.

In the News

During his visit to Pennsylvania this week, Ukrainian President Zelensky toured a Scranton-based ammunition plant, arriving in a U.S. military aircraft funded by American taxpayers. While surrounded by Democrat lawmakers in a key swing state, Zelensky made aggressively pro-Democrat statements suggesting that a Trump-Vance administration could precipitate a "global conflict."

President Zelensky should be on his knees, thanking the American people for their aid to his country. Instead, he is insulting its leaders and President Trump, who may become President again in a few short months.

Zelensky's actions are unacceptable, and in response, I have formally requested the Departments of Justice and Defense to conduct a thorough investigation into the visit to determine if it constituted a breach of the Hatch Act, which prohibits federal employees from engaging in political activities while on duty or through the misuse of government resources.

I joined The Ingraham Angle on Fox News to discuss why this is so important.

Washington Examiner: House Republicans demand investigation on whether Zelensky visit was ‘politically motivated’ to boost HarrisImage

EXCLUSIVE — House Republicans are demanding an investigation into Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the United States this week, raising questions about whether it was intended to boost Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the November election.

A group of nine House Republicans led by Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) is requesting information from the Justice and Defense departments to determine whether a visit from Zelensky to Pennsylvania earlier this week was “politically motivated” and paid for by U.S. taxpayer dollars in violation of federal law.
