Dear Advocate,

No one should have to choose between protecting their health and their right to vote.

The April 7 primaries in Wisconsin saw confusion, chaos, and uncertainty for voters — and we've learned that at least 40 people were likely infected at Wisconsin polling places. Such a travesty cannot happen again.

Any plans to reopen America must include ensuring safe and fair elections. Tune in tomorrow to Turn Up Tuesday at 5:30 pm EST — our weekly Facebook web series about turning up to vote and protecting our democracy.

This week, we will discuss barriers to the ballot box, how we can end voter suppression across states, and #GivingTuesdayNow. We will also talk about the impact of COVID-19 on marginalized communities and policy solutions to ensure that voters have a clear range of options to cast their ballot.

You'll hear from leaders, experts, and influencers about how lawmakers should ensure safe and fair elections nationwide — plus how you can get involved in the fight. And if you need information on polling updates and election protection, we've got you covered. We won't be silenced during this critical election year. Tune in tomorrow at 5:30 pm EST and speak up for voting rights.
